Pedro Roig has been driving professionally in Mallorca for more than 30 years. He began with tour coaches, moved to trucks, and now runs Island Tour & Transfer, the company he founded in 2018.

What happens after three decades behind the wheel: you learn every road, every shortcut, every hotel entrance on the island. Pedro knows it.

How it began

Pedro began his career as a coach driver for one of Mallorca's most active shuttle companies. Day after day, year after year, he transported visitors from the airport to their hotels and back.

That kind of repetition teaches him things that no GPS can: which routes have less traffic at 3:00 PM, where the entrances to hotels are tricky, and how long it really takes to go from Palma to Alcudia when the summer crowds arrive.

After years of driving coaches and heavy vehicles, Pedro decided to do something with all that knowledge. In 2018, he founded Island Tour & Transfer to offer properly executed private transfers.

"I know every hotel in Mallorca like the back of my hand, thanks to my years as a shuttle driver and, since 2018, as an entrepreneur."

What motivates him

One might think that driving on the same roads for 30 years would be boring. Pedro sees it differently.

"Driving minibuses now comes very easily to me, but what truly keeps me motivated are my clients. Meeting new people every day and helping them start their holidays stress-free is something I truly enjoy."

That is not marketing language. It is what happens when someone truly loves their job.

Professional aspects

Pedro is a member of ASUTRAM (Unified Association of Mallorca Transfer Agents). All vehicles comply with European safety standards in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2020/1054.
